Lead Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Educator to join our supportive team at Pelicans in the Park. As a key member of our centre, you will play a vital role in creating an outstanding learning environment for our children.

The Opportunity:

  • Full-time role working 38 hours per week with flexibility to consider a condensed working week across 4 days for the right candidate.
  • Must be fully flexible between 6:30am-6:00pm to work on a rotating roster.

About Us:

Our centre caters for up to 82 children with operating hours from 6:30am-6:00pm. We have delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

About You:

Requirements:

  • Hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children's Services.
  • Have an understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Proven experience as an Educator within an Early Childhood Service (working with children 0-5 years).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current Blue Card.
  • First Aid certificate.
