Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an ambitious professional to join our team as a skilled accounts payable and receivable specialist.
Main Responsibilities- Enter creditor invoices, reconcile creditor statements, manage cash flow and process payments efficiently.
- Routine daily and weekly tasks for accounts payable include processing invoices, making payments and reconciling bank statements.
- Daily receipting and sending monthly reports for debtor follow-up keep the team informed of any outstanding debts.
- Process disbursements paid on credit card and reconcile against statements ensuring accurate records.
- Bank reconciliations for office and trust accounts require regular maintenance to ensure accuracy.
- Controlled money account management involves setup, transfers, closure and calculation of interest and fees.
- Credit card top-up, GST and Tax Transfer, and preparation of rental invoices requires attention to detail.
- End-of-month tasks including bank reconciliations, controlled money account reconciliations and report preparation need timely completion.
- Answer general accounts queries and provide backup support to colleagues.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Able to work in a dynamic team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Prior experience in the legal sector is beneficial but not necessary.
