Transport Coordinator Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Transport Division at our Wetherill Park Office.

This is a permanent full-time role, working a varied schedule including early morning shifts and some Saturdays. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordination of major customer requirements, allocating drivers and equipment to ensure timely completion of all pickups and deliveries, and ensuring customer key performance indicators are met and reported on.

  • Plan and coordinate major customer requirements
  • Allocate drivers and equipment to ensure timely completion of all pickups and deliveries
  • Ensure customer key performance indicators are met and reported on
  • Ensure time management, temperature checking, and all procedural requirements are met
  • Complete all paperwork for deliveries accurately
  • Liaise with drivers regarding runs and logistical adjustments due to delays or complications
  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers and drivers while maintaining high standards of service
  • Report to and work with the Senior Allocator to achieve a high quality and reliable transport delivery service
  • Daily floor stocktakes and checks
  • Liaise with Cross Dock Supervisor for any assistance required with loading and timeslots
  • Liaise with Local team with support required to meet all delivery timeslots
  • Support Senior Allocator with daily requirements as needed

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage transportation schedules and routes
  • Coordinate logistics and communication with drivers and customers
  • Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement
