We are seeking a highly skilled National Clinical Coding Audit Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our coding audit team, you will be responsible for coordinating responses to insurer onsite and remote audits.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading coding teams with integrity, a strong commitment to coding accuracy, and excellent clinical coding knowledge using current ICD-AM/ACHI and ACS systems.
You will also possess computer literacy, specifically with patient administration software and Microsoft Office suite, as well as strong communication skills for articulating audit results and building trust.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:- Experience leading coding teams with integrity and a commitment to coding accuracy
- Excellent working knowledge of clinical coding using current ICD-AM/ACHI and ACS systems
- Certificate IV in Clinical Classification or equivalent
- Computer literacy with significant experience in patient administration software and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication skills for articulating audit results and building trust
- Audit experience in private hospitals
- Understanding of private hospital billing
- Ability to analyze and report large audit datasets
- Involvement in clinical documentation improvement strategies
