We are seeking an experienced Travel Sales Consultant to join our team of experts in the Travel and Experiences department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and customers, promoting travel products, and converting sales to meet targets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the customer travel experience from beginning to end, promoting holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, experiences, and insurance.
- Assist customers with face-to-face in-store and online service, managing new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments, and cancellations.
- Facilitate domestic and international travel bookings and payments between travellers and suppliers, using Amadeus GDS.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, cross-selling and up-selling of travel products.
- Manage travel credits, refunds, and changes.
- Attend sales meetings and achieve targets and KPIs.
- Attend industry events, such as supplier and product events, ship inspections, and travel expos.
- Travel sales consultant experience in a retail agency environment, essential.
- Certificate 3 in Travel or higher, preferred.
- Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo GDS experience.
- Passion for the travel industry and personal travel experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage workflow, set goals, meet sales targets, and work productively.
- Permanent Full-time position.
