Aircraft Avionics Specialist

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the airworthiness and safe operation of aircraft.

As an Aircraft Avionics Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to perform on-aircraft and off-aircraft maintenance activities, tackling complex systems and modifications. Your strong knowledge of avionics systems, regulatory requirements, and industry-standard documentation will be invaluable assets in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft, utilizing your expertise to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair complex avionics systems, leveraging your technical skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve maintenance objectives, fostering a culture of open communication and mutual support.

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent qualification
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of aviation airworthiness regulations and their application
  • Tech Savviness: Experience working with Interactive Electronic Technical Publications
  • Licensing: Ability to obtain B-level Military Aircraft Maintenance License
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
