Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at RAAF Edinburgh in South Australia.

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on aircraft while working within a dynamic team. You will have the opportunity to complete an NDI Technician traineeship over a five-year period, which will involve learning Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT), Magnetic Particle testing (MPT), Eddy Current testing (ECT) and Ultrasonic testing (UT).

The successful candidate will possess analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and well-developed written and verbal communication skills. They will also have Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics, Mechanical, or Structures) and meet near vision and colour perception requirements of EN4179.

This role is part of the P-8A Poseidon Program and requires support into the future. You will be an integral part of the Edinburgh P-8A MRO Depot Maintenance Team and will deliver products and services to our customers on a first-time quality basis.
