About the Role

This casual care companion role involves providing companionship and personal care to clients in their homes or community settings.

You will be responsible for creating a positive and supportive environment, promoting happier ageing experiences, and delivering on our brand promise of making lives better.

We are looking for an experienced caregiver who is passionate about supporting vulnerable adults, has excellent communication skills, and can work independently and reliably to meet clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to clients in accordance with their individual needs and care plans
  • Provide companionship, personal care, and assist with daily living activities, including healthy meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, etc.
  • Meet safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately
  • Review care plans prior to visits, complete records accurately, and complete all tasks as requested
  • Engage in open communication with colleagues and management regarding client care and opportunities for improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cert III in Aged/Disability/Community Care
  • Two positive professional references
  • National Police Check (Aged care specific)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Ability to travel independently and reliably to client visits
  • Excellent communication skills
