BlueCare offers a unique position for a Clinical Nursing Consultant to join our team in Queensland.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality leadership and expert palliative care advice, develop and implement care plans, and work towards promoting quality of life for clients and their families.

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with extensive clinical experience in palliative care to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities across rural and remote locations.

  • Provide expert palliative care advice and guidance to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor care plans to meet client health care needs and promote quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners and other multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A current Registered Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate to practice in the State where employed.
  • Demonstrated extensive clinical experience in palliative care, including post-graduate qualifications or working towards.
  • Provision of high-standard flexible and responsive management and clinical leadership.
  • Ability to travel to various locations for varying periods of time.
  • Mid-to-senior level general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical experience and person-centred care.
