Commercial Leadership Opportunity
- We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Director to spearhead revenue growth and drive strategic initiatives for our dynamic media brands.
This is a pivotal role that entails overseeing all commercial operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging market trends to inform business decisions.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Australian media landscape, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in building profitable business models.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with company goals in collaboration with the head of Media business.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and report on commercial performance, driving an annual sales pipeline and effectively monitoring revenue streams and sales team.
- Lead the sales and partnerships team to achieve targets, providing active sales support and leveraging existing revenue streams and identifying additional profit-enhancing opportunities within the industry and adjacent markets.
- Cultivate key client relationships, network throughout the Australian market, and maintain strong connections with external stakeholders, influencers, and partners.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors, leveraging market trends to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with teams to align commercial and content initiatives.
- Oversee subscription campaigns and strategies, driving revenue growth through innovative solutions.
- At least 15 years of experience as a Commercial director, Head of Media Sales, or other senior media sales leadership role (handling both B2B and consumer media).
- Extensive experience in selling various types of media, including print, sponsored content, digital, multimedia, etc.
- A proven track record of success in integrated sales and managing relationships with key clients.
- Experience and proficiency with Salesforce, media sales, and analytic tools.
- Commercial awareness paired with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
