Community Support Role - Join Our Team

About the Job

This role is perfect for those passionate about making a difference in their community, working collaboratively to provide quality legal services.

  • As part of our team, you will work closely with solicitors to support clients across various areas of law including consumer, family and domestic and family violence.
  • Participate in developing operational work plans to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • You will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and ongoing support services to clients as well as reviewing communications for accuracy and comprehensiveness.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on consumer, family and domestic and family violence laws
  • Mentor and supervise junior solicitors to advance their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of training programs to enhance staff capabilities

Requirements:

  • Current unsupervised QLS Practicing Certificate.
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Solicitor.
  • Domestic and Family Violence Duty Lawyer Accreditation or willingness to undertake training.
  • Qualified Mediator/Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner or willingness to undertake training.
