Student Support Specialist

Provide individualized case management and intervention to promote students' social and emotional wellbeing, educational engagement, attendance, and academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage at-risk and complex students in social and interpersonal skill-building, behavior modification activities, and educational engagement activities.

Collaborate with cohorts of students who may be facing similar challenges to build peer relationships and establish social networks for support. Conduct home visits to disengaged students and families and provide wrap-around support. Develop external partnerships with community service providers to offer additional wrap-around services to students and families.
