Job Overview

We are seeking a Workforce Resource Specialist to provide workforce and labour planning for our Sydney Regional Distribution Centre team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient operational processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop weekly labour planning requirements based on volume forecasts and current work standards within established guidelines
  • Implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
  • Identify resource gaps, areas for improvement, and propose solutions
  • Maintain data for weekly planning meetings with site stakeholders and labour agencies
  • Manage and maintain the labour management system to optimize performance
  • Contribute to the National Workforce Planning strategy by promoting consistent practices

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prioritisation, organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to adapt to changing environments
  • High level of computer literacy proficiency (MS and/or Google Suite)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to use initiative and work under pressure
