
Workforce Resource Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a Workforce Resource Specialist to provide workforce and labour planning for our Sydney Regional Distribution Centre team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient operational processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop weekly labour planning requirements based on volume forecasts and current work standards within established guidelines
- Implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
- Identify resource gaps, areas for improvement, and propose solutions
- Maintain data for weekly planning meetings with site stakeholders and labour agencies
- Manage and maintain the labour management system to optimize performance
- Contribute to the National Workforce Planning strategy by promoting consistent practices
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Prioritisation, organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to adapt to changing environments
- High level of computer literacy proficiency (MS and/or Google Suite)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to use initiative and work under pressure
