Job Role:

The Behavioral Therapist delivers comprehensive behavioral health services as part of an intensive outpatient program.

Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of clinical treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provides individual, group, and family therapy sessions to patients with various mental health conditions, employing evidence-based practices and strategies.
  • Evaluates patient needs and develops tailored treatment approaches to meet those requirements.
  • Collaborates effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field of study, along with current licensure as an LISW, LPCC, IMFT, LICDC, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and licensure.
  • Minimum three years of behavioral health clinical experience, with two years' experience providing intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization clinical care preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience using DSM-V and Cognitive/Behavior Group Therapy skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with diagnosis and treatment of mental health, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis treatment issues and interventions desired.

This role demands strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams. The ideal candidate should be empathetic and able to maintain confidentiality.
