Reliability Specialist

The role of a Reliability Specialist is crucial in ensuring the operational excellence and reliability of our manufacturing business.

  • Weekly maintenance planning activities are coordinated through the CMMS (MEX, Maximo or SAP).
  • Contractor management, vendor relationships, and stores/inventory control are effectively managed.
  • Purchasing, requisitions, and spare parts availability are efficiently managed.
  • Plant shutdowns and project-related works are prepared and overseen.
  • Preventative maintenance tasks are completed on time and in full by partnering with trades and production teams.
  • Improvements in long-term maintenance strategies are developed and driven with a focus on reliability and OEE.

Requirements

  • A trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner in food, pharmaceutical, packaging or other complex manufacturing is essential.
  • Strong CMMS knowledge, ideally with MEX, Maximo or SAP, is required.
  • Demonstrated success in developing preventative maintenance systems is necessary.
  • Experience with vendor management and oversight of stores/inventory functions is required.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to reliability improvement are essential.
