About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Coach to lead our successful Squad program at the Bathurst Aquatic Centre. As the Head Swimming Coach, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training plans that promote the progression of swimmers through the levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a team of instructors to create and implement a comprehensive swimming program
  • Design and deliver training plans that cater to the needs of swimmers at various levels
  • Collaborate with the Swimming and Water Safety program to identify talented swimmers and encourage participation in the squad program
  • Ensure the safe and effective delivery of swimming activities and competitions
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote the squad program and affiliated Swimming Club
Requirements
  • Teacher of Competitive Swimming / Competitive Strokes
  • Bronze level Qualification - Preferred
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
