Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Estimator to enhance our contracting division. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery of estimates and quotations while maintaining the profitability of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requests for quotations (RFQ) and prepare detailed estimates.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs to align with purchase orders.
  • Engage with builders to follow up on submitted quotes.
  • Oversee margin control and the order acceptance process to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all quotation and delivery requests for assigned clients.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Update IT systems regularly to reflect the status of quotations and deliveries for precise reporting.
  • Collaborate with take-off providers on estimating tasks and other responsibilities as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in estimating and proficiency in reading construction plans is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A motivated team player eager to contribute to a dynamic and customer-centric environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively and accurately.
  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills and a disciplined approach.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong personal drive and focus on achieving results.
