
Nurse Operations Manager

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for facilitating the smooth operation of the Perioperative department.
They will apply advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing, and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, driving excellence in patient outcomes.
Provide a support role to all members of the nursing team, acting as a role model and resource person within the clinical area, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
Lead and direct the department to complement the strategic direction, operational processes, and business direction of the unit and hospital, ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflow.
A positive attitude, ability to prioritise, delegate and adapt, along with excellent time management skills are of critical importance for this role, enabling them to navigate complex situations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective communication among team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and reduce adverse events.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the role, showcasing expertise and maturity.
- Strong clinical skillset, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
