Bupa, a leading healthcare provider, seeks to empower its operations by employing an experienced Senior Cloud Operations Engineer. This role will drive the company's success and improve customer experiences.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deploying, managing, or supporting cloud workloads at scale. They should possess strong Azure expertise, with proficiency in Terraform and Automation.

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer, with hands-on experience deploying and managing Azure public cloud workloads.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack, including on-premises and Azure services.
  • Demonstrated experience with contemporary development principles: 'everything as code', version-controlled change, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
  • Demonstrated skills in PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Automation, Active Directory, and/or Azure Active Directory - essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Experience authoring and modifying clean self-documenting code using an Infrastructure as Code platform like Terraform – essential.
  • Demonstrated skill in DevOps and Continuous Delivery and other Software Engineering principals such as source control, deployment pipelines modularity, and abstraction - essential.
