Job Summary

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of experienced engineers to design and implement cutting-edge data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of platform engineers utilizing AWS services to drive innovation and technical excellence.

  • Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems to develop long-term solutions.
  • Drive data transformational projects and create a positive leadership impact within the teams by encouraging diversity of thoughts.
  • Develop and mentor engineers to grow and lead with confidence.

  • Experience in implementing data platforms at enterprise level.
  • Strong track record of providing thought leadership and support with hands-on engineering work.
  • Automation and self-service first approach to problems.
Technical Skills

The successful candidate will have:

  • People management experience with previous experience in playing leadership roles within data engineering chapter.
  • Full cycle engineers having familiarity with object-oriented languages and databases.
  • Prior experience of working with Data Lakes, warehouses, and data processing tools.
  • Streaming services like Kafka and building data products.
  • Expertise in leading and driving team of platform engineers utilizing AWS services.
  • Promote DevSecOps mindset within your chapter supported by world-class tools.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and using work tracking tools like JIRA.
