Community Development Coordinator

We are seeking an energetic and creative professional to fill a key role in delivering exceptional student living experiences.

The ideal candidate will have experience in event management, hospitality, or community engagement, with a proven track record of leading or supervising casual/part-time teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and Deliver: Create and lead inclusive, high-quality social, wellness, and educational events that reflect resident interests and foster community connections.
  • Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day oversight of casual team members, including rostering, training, supervising, and tracking performance.
  • Community Care: Support resident wellbeing through proactive engagement, incident follow-up, and partnerships with local/university support services.
  • Vendor Engagement: Build relationships with vendors, contractors, and local businesses to enhance resident life and deliver value-added initiatives.
  • Operations and Compliance: Manage event budgets, ensure compliance with policies and standards, and capture reporting on attendance, satisfaction, and outcomes.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Collaborate with internal teams to promote events across digital and onsite channels, ensuring alignment with marketing and leasing objectives.
