Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at a prominent restaurant in Melbourne. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and guest experience standards.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining Company Standards: Ensure that our restaurant maintains the highest standards of service, presentation, and quality.
- Menu Planning and Development: Plan and develop seasonal menus, wine matching, and special event menus that showcase our culinary expertise.
- Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and producers to ensure the highest quality ingredients and products.
- Financial Management: Manage and oversee purchasing, stock levels, and staffing costs to ensure they are in line with weekly and monthly budgets.
- Customer Service: Manage and oversee reservations and customer service in a busy dining room, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that our restaurant maintains the highest standards of health and safety, including COVID regulations.
- Staff Management: Participate in recruitment, training, and supervising of new staff to ensure that our team is equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Qualifications: A Diploma of Hospitality or minimum 3 years of experience in a similar management role.
- Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $80,000, a dynamic and supportive work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
