Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team as a mental health clinician. In this role, you will provide accessible mental health services for infants, children, and young people, including family and support networks.

The successful candidate will conduct outreach to children, young people, and families in various settings, perform assessment and intervention, clinical, family, and group work, participate in service planning, implementation, and evaluation, collaborate with other services for integration, and work within office hours with plans to expand to after-hours and weekends.

About the Role
  • Ongoing position with the EIMOS team at Alfred ICYAMHWS, Moorabbin
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outreach to children, young people, and families in various settings
  • Perform assessment and intervention, clinical, family, and group work
  • Participate in service planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with other services for integration
  • Work within office hours with plans to expand to after-hours and weekends
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree-qualified Occupational Therapist with current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia via AHPRA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Experience working with children, young people, and families
  • Knowledge of mental health principles and practices
