Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced payroll specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll, reconciliations, and disbursements. You will work closely with the Finance and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for up to 650 staff on a monthly basis
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for leave, payroll, terminations, salary sacrifice, WorkCover, and payroll/group tax
  • Administer and process all disbursements/reimbursements
  • Collect, calculate, and enter data to maintain and update payroll information into accounting software
  • Support Finance and HR in the provision of employee-related information and reports
  • Resolve and answer any payroll enquiries

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • End-to-end payroll experience (MicroPay experience ideal)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships
  • Well-developed organisational skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively and consistently meet deadlines and use initiative
