We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Heavy vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join our team at our Mildura Dealership. This is a permanent full-time position with competitive pay and benefits working on some of Australia's premium truck brands

What Does a Day as a Mechanic Look Like at Johnson's Trucks?

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, Trucks & Trailers.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems
  • Ordering parts as needed
  • Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used via our electronic system
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members

What you Need:

  • Relevant Heavy Vehicle trade certificate
  • Demonstrated mechanical knowledge & skills
  • Experience with Volvo, UD, Mack & Hino Trucks is desirable
  • Able to work a minimum of 40hrs per week, overtime & callout roster may be required at times
  • Committed to complying with all OH&S procedures
