Senior Controls Engineer

This is an opportunity to lead a team of engineers on full project life cycle engineering of PLC and control systems design, development, implementation and commissioning onsite.

  • Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will lead complex projects, coach and mentor engineers, contribute to the continuous improvement of control systems processes.

You are a natural engineer who enjoys creating complex solutions for demanding clients. Essential qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Proven success in a leadership position
  • 5 years+ experience in Industrial Automation solutions, preferably with Materials Handling such as Parcel Sortation, Conveyor Systems
  • Complex control systems architectures and specifications for controls systems
  • Development of control system code, providing expertise in programming languages, standards and tools
  • Ability to prepare and present complex technical data
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
