This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your knowledge of water and sewer networks in our Water Operations Centre.
We are seeking a new Systems Controller to join our teamAbout The Role: You will monitor system availability, configuration, and performance of water and sewer systems in real-time, proactively controlling operations to minimize system failures.
Responsibilities also include prioritizing work orders, dispatching work crews, and providing technical advice to field staff.
Shifts cover a 24/7 roster, including day and night shifts, Monday to Sunday.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have: A Certificate IV qualification in Engineering or a related field, or demonstrated solid experience in water/sewer network management.
A current Class C Drivers Licence.
Experience in operational management of a distributed network of assets.
Understanding of water, wastewater, and network systems.
Proficiency in information technology, including control & monitoring systems (e.g., SCADA) and GIS.

Other Important Information: The starting salary is up to $92.9k per year, with progression opportunities up to $107.7k, plus shift penalties and 12% superannuation.
This is a permanent full-time role located at Nexus Business Hub, North Wyong.
Central Coast Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment to fill other vacancies.
