Job Title

Environmental Compliance Specialist

Description

This role involves assisting with the development, implementation and management of environmental compliance systems and controls. The primary focus is on environmental and planning compliance within the waste management team, which includes responsibilities such as:

  • Supporting the development of strategies to ensure effective environmental compliance
  • Contributing to the implementation of policies and procedures related to waste and environmental management

The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience in waste management, environmental monitoring programs and rehabilitation plans, with a demonstrated ability to support contractor coordination and contribute to compliance-related activities.

About You

  • Relevant work experience in waste management, environmental monitoring programs and rehabilitation plans

  • Familiarity with policies and procedures relating to waste and environmental management
