Team Leader Customer Service Role

This is a leadership opportunity with a permanent role in customer service, offering excellent benefits and long-term growth. As Team Leader, you will work for a well-known global organisation and be part of a friendly and supportive team.

The Role

  • Manage workflow, motivate the team, delegate tasks, and oversee training and problem-solving.
  • Support the Customer Service Manager with process improvements, recruitment, coaching, and team engagement.
  • Guide daily customer service queries, manage team schedules, leave planning, and resource coverage.
  • Lead team meetings and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
  • Oversee task allocation, rosters, performance metrics, and handle escalated queries.
  • Coach team members through feedback and performance reviews, onboard new hires, and identify development opportunities.
  • Promote a positive team culture through open communication and leading by example.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts and identify improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain up-to-date service procedures, support audit processes, and ensure compliance.

Experience Required

  • Proven leadership skills, ability to develop teams, and foster a service-oriented culture.
  • Experience managing direct reports, leading projects, or mentoring junior staff.
  • Ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Customer-focused with experience across multiple channels including phone, chat, and email.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, capable of prioritising and managing high-volume periods.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience managing direct reports, leading projects, or mentoring junior staff, with a proven track record of developing teams and fostering a service-oriented culture.

They will possess strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage high-volume periods, as well as experience working across multiple channels including phone, chat, and email.
