Job Opportunity:

Djirra is seeking a Senior Events Manager to lead the organisation of our 16 Days of Activism campaign. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of event planning, including developing sponsorship prospectuses, coordinating promotional activities and managing event logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Plan and execute events from start to finish, ensuring they meet requirements, target audience and objectives.">
  • Develop and implement sponsorship strategies, engaging with stakeholders and potential sponsors.">
  • Lead promotional activities for the event, leveraging marketing techniques to maximize attendance and revenue.">
  • Manage event budgets, expenses and vendor relationships.">
  • Maintain accurate records and meeting calendars, ensuring event planning remains on track.">

Requirements:

">

The ideal candidate will possess experience in events management or high-level coordination, preferably within an Aboriginal Controlled Community Organisation. A Victorian Employees Working With Children's Check card, Police Check and Driver's License are also required.

Experience in fundraising for events, knowledge of marketing techniques and event budget management would be highly desirable.
