As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients, working closely with the client manager to manage a portfolio of clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse client portfolio, providing technical expertise in accounting and tax to deliver complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, cashflow statements, and working papers, as well as budgets for client engagements.
  • Assist in consulting matters, including providing tax advice, and provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degree.
  • Completed professional certification – CA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in public practice accounting.
  • Experience in professional services is desired, as well as demonstrated exposure to medium and large businesses with multiple entities.
  • Motivation and a commitment to self-development and career progression.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
