About You:

You will be physically fit, able to read, write, understand instructions, and do simple arithmetic well.

Position Summary:

You will work in a fast-paced food van environment under the guidance of a Shift Manager. Some of your duties include:

  • Opening and closing the food van.
  • Managing customer orders and enquiries.
  • Using our Point of Sale system.
  • Supporting kitchen operations, including food preparation and maintaining a clean environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment (preferred).
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify potential hazards.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to follow procedures to a high standard.
  • High standard of presentation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
  • Ability to work a flexible rotating roster.
  • Ability to adapt to changes.
  • Experience with kitchen equipment (preferred).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be warm and positive at all times while at work.
  • Add value to the customer experience.
  • Listen to and interact with customers.
  • Communicate customer feedback.
  • Complete transactions using the Point of Sale system.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Follow the Food Safety Program.
