About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Project Lead to join our Water team in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the career of a lifetime and being involved in a transformative project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the Digital Engineering Execution Plan (DEXP) to ensure compliance with project scope and digital/information requirements.
  • Validate and handover project digital/information during the project lifecycle.
  • Attend design, commercial, and project management meetings to drive project digital/information strategy and requirements/standards.
  • Deploy and manage information strategy/data governance/data security (CDE) and assist in developing systems to link information between various sources.
  • Audit design & drafting processes to improve delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Track deliverables to completion through digital monitoring methods and provide progress information to the Design Management team.
  • Work with clients and contractors to enable the model to be used for DE tasks in line with project requirements.
  • Manage project resources for DE coordination, CAD management, GIS management, and visualization.
  • Collaborate with project sustainability teams to integrate sustainability into digital engineering processes.
  • Review continuous improvement of digital engineering practices and processes for compliance and competitive advantage.
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in leading BIM for a discipline(s), infrastructure, or water experience an advantage.
  • Accreditation in relevant information management systems/processes (ISO19650 and CDEs).
  • Proven ability to prepare quality execution/management plans.
  • High-level verifiable discipline coordination skills.
  • Commercial awareness/acumen.
  • Skilled at collaborative working, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • In-depth knowledge of national codes and classification schemes and how they apply to DE delivery.
  • Client-focused and high-level relationship management skills.
  • Experience of supervising teams of staff, including developing/mentoring junior staff.
  • Balances innovation, quality, and technical excellence with delivery to timelines and budget.
  • Open to and actions feedback.
