About Our Client

Michael Page is partnering with a leading organization in the MENA region to find a highly skilled FM Design Management Director. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within the Property & Construction field and contribute to the development of sustainable design solutions.

Job Description
  • Lead the FM design strategy throughout project stages 1 to 3, ensuring all FM requirements and concerns are thoroughly captured and addressed.
  • Directly accountable for managing and owning the design review schedule, including coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Responsible for ensuring the availability of necessary resources to undertake the design reviews.
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of the design team resources, including FTEs, SMP's, and service providers, and periodically reassess to maintain effectiveness.
  • Work with procurement to identify top design companies with high qualifications to support FM design reviews.
  • Closely coordinate with the FM Technologies Director to ensure all FM technology requirements are integrated into the designs.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with the project's Proponent and ensure close coordination with the Engineering & Technical Services Department (ETSD) for integrated design solutions.
  • Innovate in sustainable FM design, focusing on renewable energy integration, eco-friendly materials, and advanced waste management systems.
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in FM sustainable design and management for large-scale, complex urban developments, with at least 10 years in a strategic leadership role. Experience in overseeing projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is highly desirable.
