As a key member of our Marketing team, you will deliver in-house design solutions and creative services. Your primary role is to bring the brand identity to life in print, digital and motion across various campaigns, programs, services, publications and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Brand Manager at all stages of the design process, ensuring design solutions are delivered on-brief, on-time and on-brand.
  • Design and produce compelling, effective and accessible design solutions for external and internal audiences guided by the Brand Manager and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to support project objectives, planning and delivery.
  • Liaise with external suppliers/vendors as required.
  • Adhere to team processes to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of creative services using a centralised platform to track design requests.
  • Keep updated on emerging trends in branding and design to ensure in-house design solutions remain compelling.
  • Assist with other duties as directed by the Brand Manager.

About You:

  • A tertiary qualification in graphic design or visual communication is highly desirable.
  • Professional experience preferably in an in-house or creative agency is required.
  • A current portfolio demonstrating skills and understanding in concept development, brand, print, and digital design is essential.
  • You must be comfortable working in a corporate team environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a flexible approach positive and friendly personality and ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills to manage high volume requests with competing and tight deadlines are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and follow established team processes is necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop concepts from creative briefs through to delivery is essential.
  • Ability to articulate and discuss conceptual ideas with stakeholders is required.
  • Proven experience in following established brand guidelines is necessary.
  • Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud InDesign Photoshop Illustrator Acrobat is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint is desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a macOS environment is essential.
  • Highly proficient in design fundamentals typography composition colour hierarchy and balance is required.
  • Working knowledge of print and digital design production processes is necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of motion design is desirable.
  • Experience with a digital project management tool such as Asana is desirable.
  • Organised and pragmatic self-driven solution-orientated with a strong work ethic is essential.
  • A 'can do' attitude with a willingness to learn and grow is required.

  • The Marketing team contributes strategically and operationally to attract retain and grow membership.
