Senior Accounting Specialist

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accountant to advance their career within a reputable and experienced team.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of trusts, financial statements, taxation returns, BAS, and IAS, as well as the ability to provide complex tax advice to clients.

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and ITRs for various entities.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of complex tax returns for SMEs and HNWIs.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of CGT, Div7a, UPE, GST, SBTC, FTE/IEE, and FBT.
  • Collaborate on ad-hoc projects and audit assistance to clients.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients.
  • Ensure adherence to professional standards and relevant legislation.
  • Provide expert technical guidance while managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Verify the accuracy and integrity of data, ensuring timely completion.
  • Mentor junior staff members in their work papers and development.
  • Stay abreast of taxation laws and changes, participating in ongoing training and development.
  • Implement efficient administrative processes and procedures.
Key Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Intermediate or Senior Accountant qualification (CA or CPA).
  • Minimum 3 years of Public Practice experience in Australia.
