We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing the integrated care of patients admitted to our Midwifery Ward.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-standard clinical services to our patients and contribute to the provision of excellent care in our region.
- Manage the antenatal care of patients in conjunction with midwives and assist with deliveries requiring medical input.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality and safety initiatives within our health network.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and wellbeing.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
- Eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of South Australia.
- Proven skills in problem-solving and decision-making at both clinical and individual levels.
