We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Workskil Australia Ltd. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the achievement of organisational objectives through the ongoing review of reporting and data requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain the Workskil data platform, including all related Business Intelligence solutions.
- Develop data pipelines with ETL/ELT strategies that ingest and curate data from various sources.
- Research and develop Data Architecture that suits Workskil's analytical needs.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence Analysts to build data products and reports effectively in Power BI.
- Automate and maintain data ingestion and analytical dataset refresh processes.
- Maintain Workskil's data catalog and documentation.
- Conduct and automate unit testing to ensure data quality.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies within the Data & Reporting Team.
- Participate in the identification and delivery of Data Science proof of concepts.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field, such as Information Technology, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- Minimum three years of experience in working in data and related roles.
- Experience with Microsoft Cloud Data and Reporting development toolsets, including Power BI, Azure DevOps, and Azure Synaps.
- Proficiency with SQL to implement data transformation and optimize query performance.
