About the Opportunity

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering culturally safe and responsive primary health care aligned with the BRAMS Model of Care.
  • Conducting independent patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making.
  • Prescribing medications under the Kimberley Standard Drug List and authorised SASAs.
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic investigations.
  • Managing recalls, reminders, and follow-up care processes.
  • Collaborating across departments and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Leading and contributing to quality improvement activities and clinical audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify, you must hold current AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner, along with demonstrated experience in a primary healthcare setting.

  • Experience working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services is desirable.
  • Clinical expertise in triage, treatment, and ongoing care management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams.
  • Cultural humility and a willingness to learn in an Aboriginal health context.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to adapt to a diverse service environment.
