About the Role

As a Comprehensive Mental Health Professional, you will be responsible for providing integrated clinical mental health care to consumers within the Rural and Remote Inpatient Unit. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families on mental health management strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated competence in mental health nursing in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workload effectively.
