Speech Pathologist Generalist Role

Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join their team. As a Generalist Speech Pathologist, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services, appropriate to the needs of the local community.

About the Role

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager, Speech Pathology, the Speech Pathologist will work as a member of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors. You will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services, appropriate to the needs of the local community.
  • Work as a member of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors.
  • Utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches.

Requirements

  • Recognised qualification within the Speech Pathology profession.
  • Eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • Desirable to participate in Speech Pathology Australia's Professional Self-Regulation (PSR) program.
