About the Role
The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network is seeking a Generalist Speech Pathologist to contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services. As a member of a multi-professional team, the successful candidate will work with health professionals and service providers from other sectors to provide preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches.
At the AHP2 level, the Generalist Speech Pathologist will apply clinical experience, generalist and/or specialist clinical knowledge, and professional competence to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services. The successful candidate will work under reduced clinical direction and may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants, and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services
- Work as a member of a multi-professional team to provide preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches
- Apply clinical experience, generalist and/or specialist clinical knowledge, and professional competence to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services
- Work under reduced clinical direction and contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants, and students
Requirements
- Recognised qualification within the Speech Pathology profession
- Eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
- Desirable to participate in Speech Pathology Australia's Professional Self-Regulation (PSR) program
