Dedicated Speech Pathologist Opportunity in Regional South Australia

About the Role:
The Generalist Speech Pathologist position offers a great opportunity to work in a friendly country health service where you will have broad exposure to various clinical settings. Your role will involve contributing to the delivery of integrated health services that cater to the needs of the local community. You will work as part of a multi-professional team and utilise preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches to achieve this goal.
Job Description:
In this role, you will apply your clinical experience, generalist and/or specialist knowledge, and professional competence to plan, implement, and evaluate a range of services suitable for the local community. At the AHP2 level, you will work under reduced clinical direction and may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students. This position is open to both AHP1 and AHP2 classification depending on your qualifications and experience. You will have the option to nominate your preferred site(s) upon submitting your application. The vacancy represents multiple positions available in the region, allowing you to choose the best fit for your skills and preferences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must hold a recognised qualification within the Speech Pathology profession and be eligible for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). Self-regulated progression through the SPA's Professional Self-Regulation (PSR) program is desirable. All applicants must undergo a satisfactory Criminal History Check and meet the necessary immunisation requirements. Additionally, please note that this position involves working with vulnerable groups, requiring a National Police Certificate.
