About the Role

This position provides critical support to the Coprice and Riviana teams in operational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) matters. The successful candidate will enable these teams to embed good HSE practices and upskill operational staff in HSE matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support compliance with regulatory requirements and assist company officers in discharging their due diligence obligations related to HSE.
  • Enable critical risk management and control practices in the business.
  • Support and upskill line leaders to manage operations safety.
  • Facilitate the implementation of good systems and practices across both Riviana and CopRice.

About You

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in high-risk industries, supporting operations to embed risk controls. They will possess excellent organizational skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.

  • Technical understanding of HSE issues and familiarity with HSE management systems frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Sound knowledge of HSE laws and practices.
  • Ability to work in a complex and dynamic organization with a high amount of change.
  • Comfortable working in a team, but also able to work independently and use their own initiative to plan tasks and manage workload.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and deliver quality output.
  • Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
