Project Leadership Opportunity

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will lead a team to plan and manage the Program of Works, ensuring timely delivery and optimal profitability. You will work closely with the Area Supervisor to collaborate on full design and construction programs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of project engineers to ensure workforce, safety, quality, and scheduling needs are met.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop traffic plans, council approvals, and LAAN access notices.
  • Track and communicate variations and provide timely reporting.
  • Oversee construction dashboards, trackers, and completion artefacts.
  • Coordinate stock orders and manage construction changes.
  • Support financial forecasting, budget tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Analyse KPIs and lead improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure contract compliance and manage exemptions for KPI breaches.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related field) is desirable.
  • Project Management certification (PMBOK, PMP, Prince2) is desirable.
  • Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure projects is essential.
  • Strong leadership, financial, and commercial acumen is required.
  • Prior experience on NBN projects is necessary.
