We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Mining Engineer to join our East Coast team at Advanced Mining Production Systems (AMPS). As a key member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for assisting clients with onsite engineering requirements, including drill and blast designs, mine planning and scheduling, mining infrastructure and project management, and specialised mining improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with onsite engineering requirements, including drill and blast designs, mine planning and scheduling, and mining infrastructure and project management.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to improve mining operations and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical services to clients.
- Mentor and train technical staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and partnerships.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Mining Engineering and relevant technical engineering experience within the Australian mining industry. You will also need to have a strong commitment to quality and safety in the workplace, a current Australian manual driver's license, and exposure and experience with mine design software.
