Recovery Focused Mental Health Services
We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our team, providing expert assessment, therapy, and care coordination for children and young people navigating mental health challenges.
About the Role
The Community Mental Health Clinician will work in a multidisciplinary team, promoting recovery and resilience through evidence-based interventions. You will be part of a compassionate and supportive environment, committed to making a real difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide recovery focused clinical services including assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison and review
- Conduct mental health assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents and their families/carers
- Work collaboratively with consumers, their families and carers, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications and current registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist OR Tertiary qualifications for Social Worker, Counsellor or Welfare Officer with eligibility for membership for relevant professional association
- Demonstrated experience in contemporary clinical Child and Adolescent Mental Health practice, including conducting mental health assessments and providing evidence-based interventions
- High level communication skills, with ability to engage and collaborate with consumers, their families and carers, and other stakeholders
