As a Mathematics Research Specialist, you will play a key role in advancing mathematical knowledge and supporting research activities within the school. Your expertise in mathematics will be utilized to contribute to the production of high-quality research, journal publications, and professional engagement.

This role involves conducting independent or collaborative research under limited supervision, contributing to journal publications and academic outputs, engaging in professional activities such as attending conferences and seminars, performing administrative duties related to research, making occasional contributions to teaching programs, and undertaking other duties as directed.

To excel in this position, you should possess a doctoral qualification in mathematics and demonstrate a strong track record in research aligned with partial differential equations and/or geometric analysis. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Conduct research under limited supervision, either independently or as part of a team.
  • Contribute to journal publications and other academic outputs.
  • Engage in professional activities such as attending conferences and seminars in the field of expertise.
  • Perform administrative duties related to research.
  • Make occasional contributions to teaching programs.
  • Undertake other duties as directed.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and their applications, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
