Mathematical Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative professional to support research activities within the School of Mathematical Sciences.
The appointee will contribute to the production of high-quality research, journal publications, and professional engagement, while also supporting teaching and administrative duties as required.
About You- A doctoral qualification in Mathematics is essential.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly involving partial differential equations and/or geometric analysis are required.
- Demonstrated capacity to produce high-quality research publications is necessary.
- Ability to provide guidance to and work with honours or postgraduate students within the discipline is crucial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team is vital.
- Conduct research under limited supervision, either independently or as part of a team.
- Contribute to journal publications and other academic outputs.
- Engage in professional activities such as attending conferences and seminars in the field of expertise.
- Perform administrative duties related to research.
- Make occasional contributions to teaching programs as determined by the requirements of the school.
