
Compassionate Palliative Care Professionals

Palliative Care Nurses play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to clients and their families in their homes and communities. As part of a specialized team, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop expertise in palliative care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred end-of-life care to clients and their families, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community services to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance your clinical skills and knowledge in palliative care.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with a valid licence.
- Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
- Mid to senior level proficiency in general nursing with clinical expertise and a person-centred care approach.
- Desirable: prior experience or ongoing pursuit of qualifications in palliative care, pain management, or acute care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to navigate rural and remote areas of Queensland, with a current driver's licence.
